Welcome to September’s edition of MyBrandz Snapshot, where we showcase what’s new and exciting in the world of chocolate, snacking and confectionery.
First up, just when you thought things couldn’t get any better, Mars Wrigley have taken an absolute classic and added more chocolate, creating their new Mars Choc Loaded. A classic bar + extra chocolate = winning combination.
September means Footy Finals and as always, Smith’s have you covered with a couple of enticing new flavours to their crowd favourite chips. Check out Garlic Bread and Southern Fried Chicken for your half-time treats. If Pringles are more your style, then look into their new rotational editions available for a short time only – Chicken Schnitty and Grilled Cheese. Add them together and you get a Parmy stack! What could be more Australian?
Frucor have set the bar high with their flavour innovations and their new Forbidden Golden Fruits V is another winner. If you’re old enough to enjoy an alcoholic tipple, try adding a little drop of Vodka or Peach Schnapps to make an absolutely next-level punch! You can thank us later (drink responsibly and all of that stuff, too).
Nestle have added a bit of bling to the good old KitKat with their highly anticipated Gold Whirl. After the phenomenal success of the KitKat Gold in 2018, this bar brings together two hugely popular flavours and is sure to be another hit.
Darell Lea know how to do extremely tasty chocolate and gifting. Check out the teaser they have released of their new format Rocklea Road, available for order in October. With beautiful red and tan packaging, this treat has the perfect Christmas gift written all over it.
For the kids (or kids at heart), Universal Candy continues to innovate, developing what is sure to be the next novelty craze – Poop Pops. They’re exactly what they sound like – a lollipop in the shape of the Poop Emoji. But don’t worry, the taste is delicious and fruity.
Following an extremely successful launch with The Distributors, Danny’s snacking chocolate Thins and Sticks are here in full force, fully stocked and ready to delight the tastebuds of consumers all over Australia. Plus, their team are working EXTREMELY hard to bring an Aussie classic back onto shelves very soon. No spoilers here, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.
AusBev (the team that produce the popular Sam’s Juices) have updated their logo to incorporate both Sam’s and their Famer’s Organic range; check it out for yourself on page four.
